Exactly what you need for the battery operated Coleman lantern. Be careful when fitting the new battery in the lantern. Unless you brace it with some type of filler (I used heavy duty Velcro), it will wobble in the compartment. It is an exact replacement for the original battery.

Bought this to replace the battery in a Coleman electric lantern and it turned out to be a mistake. After charging for 48hrs I tested the lantern on high and on low (a full charge each time) and in both cases it didn’t provide more than three hours of constant on time. Very disappointing and won’t provide the run-time as a sole light source for a standard night of camping. The battery appears to be well made and the packaging was great, along with quick shipping. Unfortunately, it doesn’t have the capacity for the lantern as advertised, and it’s non-returnable.

While cleaning out my garage, I discovered a rechargeable air pump for air mattresses, rafts, etc. I did not even remember I owned one. In fact, I’d been shopping for one on to inflate my duckie. I’m not sure it had ever been used. But it was at least 15 years old, the original battery was dead, and it wouldn’t accept a charge. So I bought this replacement battery, and right out of the box, it was ready to go. But I put it on the charger to top it off, before I put it to work. I looked for a compatible lithium ion battery, but it was 4 times the cost, so I went with the sealed lead acid, AGM.

Funny story, found this lantern by the dumpster in the state park the wife and I was staying at. The Lantern still connected to its AC Adapter. Took it to our site and plugged it in over night and and no luck. Opened up the bottom and took the battery out and checked it with a multi-meter and was only reading 2 volts. Ordered this battery and installed it and presto!!! Lit right up! Perfect replacement battery. Just a fyi, you really got to wiggle and pry at the old battery to get it out but just be patient it will come out. Its held in by very strong double sided tape.
