Bought this from vendor Mighty Max Battery to replace the old nonfunctional battery for my UPS. This battery physically is identically sized compared to the original battery and is a drop-in replacement for the TrippLite G1010USB UPS. It arrived fully charged and ready to go, registering all 5 bars on the UPS charge meter and over 12 volts on a voltmeter. The battery terminals are appropriately positioned and are the proper size. The battery is labeled 9 Amp Hours. Delivery took a week.

I have just finished installing this battery as a replacement in my TrippLite G1010USB. Like many people, I have some dead UPS units around. Replacing the whole unit is ~$120. However, the only real problem with the unit is the battery – so the choice was to try rehabbing a UPS for the first time for $22. Installation was easy. The battery arrived perhaps 60% charged (the little bar display on the UPS shows 3 or 5) and is plugged in now charging up to full. Note that this battery has the smaller F1 tabs while this UPS and the old dead OEM battery hve the larger F2 type connectors. This is not an issue, as you are attaching a larger cable connector onto a smaller tab. The connection is firm and tight. I did put 2 small pieces of electrical tape over the connections to prevent any possibility of an accidental short (ie, I dropped the screwdriver). The packaging made me a tad nervous when I first saw the box, as it was slightly crumpled during shipping and the battery is heavy. However, upon opening I found the packaging was better that expected. Crumpled brown (kraft style) paper kept the battery centered in the box. The battery itself has an inner plastic wrapping, and outer bubble wrap. After using a box cutter for the outer box tape, everything else was opened with no tools. Shipping arrival was ahead of schedule.

Wonderful product and reliable service. It works perfectly with my Tripp-Lite UPS (ECO 550), and it is better than the OEM with higher capacity (9AH instead of 7) at almost half of the price. A very good buy from Mighty Max; highly recommended.
