I used to purchase the more expensive Yuasa version of this battery, and was disappointed to only get 2 years at the most despite paying much more. This brand saves me about $40 and the last one I purchased lasted almost 6 years.

Battery quality is always a bit of a gamble. It’s easy to make a battery look good or give it a cool name, but in the end, how reliable is it, how long will it last?Well, when you open up the box and see that one of the terminals is squished, that doesn’t exactly inspire confidence! The terminal should normally be a nice cube shape, but this one was smooshed down and formed into a bit of a Trapezoid/Parallelogram.This was a bit of a surprise because there was no damage visible on either of the boxes (the factory thin box was inside USPS Priority box). So this tells me that the battery was probably damaged at the factory, but nobody cared enough to think it might be a problem.I was afraid that the battery was not even functioning, so first I checked it with a VOM. It did have normal voltage, so I proceeded to try to restore the terminal back to a shape that could be usable. This involved gently trying to bend it back in a few different directions. I managed to get it closer to a cube shape, but when I tried to see if the bolt and nut would line up, I couldn’t even get the bolt in the hole. So I had to break out my drill bits and drill out the hole to fit the bolt.After spending quite a bit of time fixing someone else’s f up, I managed to get the battery installed, and it is working, for now. But I have serious doubts about the future life of this battery, given it’s sketchy beginnings.To the fine people who work at the Mighty Max factory, Come on man!

As far as the battery goes, I installed it and my scooter fired right up! The negative is the bolts they send with it are machined incorrectly so you need to either keep the hardware from your old battery or hopefully you have an old jar full of miscellaneous nuts and bolts!!

His battery seems to work great, I just put it on my bike which had a dead battery on it and the bike fired up right away (it turned over at least).Only reason it’s not a 5 star is because it was so difficult to install. It has a bolt and screw instead of just being able to screw right into the terminals on the block.

I bought two of these batteries. One for my dad’s four wheeler, and one for my four wheeler. They both are exactly what I needed and work great. They come pre charged with the hardware that is needed to instal. Within 3 minutes my four wheeler was up and running again.
