The YTX5L-BS GEL is a 12V 4AH GEL (Maintenance Free) battery. Requires no addition of water during the life of the battery. The Mighty Max YTX5L-BS GEL is a TRUE DEEP CYCLE battery that can be mounted in any position, requires no maintenance. When a Gel Cell battery is charged, no hazardous fumes escape the battery case, gases are processed within the battery itself.

The battery seems pretty strong but there must have been some sort of leak at the negative terminal because it corroded very badly within a few months. So bad the terminal bolt twisted off. The positive terminal looked great.

I have installed one in each of my toys after the oem unit quit, they can take a beating without failing and are none serviceable so they can be mounted on its side like in my Motrac
