I purchased (2) of these as replacements for the B.B. Battery BP7-12 batteries in my computer USPs. The Mighty Max batteries supplied had 1-size smaller male spade terminals then the original BP7-12s so required changing the female terminals in both of my UPSs. The physical case size was the same as the original BP7-12, but the replacement Mighty Max batteries weighed 22% less then the original B.B. Battery brand:B.B. Battery BP7-12 weights 5 lbs 7 ozMighty Max ML7-12 weights 4 lbs 8 oz.I did not test the Mighty Max for actual storage capacity since the intended use is for UPS back ups that are typically only needed for a few seconds during rare power line glitches. However, the significantly lower weight may reflect a smaller, lighter internal lead plate structure which might translate into less actual power storage capacity. Only a properly done 20hr discharge test will tell if these actually can produce the rated 7.2 AH capacity.The batteries do work OK in my UPSs but I’ve only tested them for very short power interruptions (5-10 seconds), so nothing like the full 7.2 AH capacity was needed.My main concern and the reason I down-rated these is because they are sold as BP7-12 replacements, but they do not use the same size terminals. Im an electronics engineer, and I was able to replace the internal terminals in my UPS devices, but, I suspect, that many users will not be able to do the same in their hardware so may not be happy with these batteries. If an original large female spade lug is used with the small contacts on the Mighty Max battery, it probably will make poor contact and the device may not function as intended.
