I haven’t used battery and I’m sure it’s fine. My customer ordered one also so I wanted to return this one but it says I can’t return because it’s a battery that can’t be sent. It was sent USPS so why can’t I return it using USPS??
J. Harris –
It’s a good value so far, we will see how long it lasts
Nunya Bidness –
The Chamberlain battery that came with my garage door opener lasted for 4.5 years. I replaced it with this battery and the Mightymax ML5-12 battery lasted for just over 7 years. I am ordering a new replacement battery and will be buying the same brand and model again.

It works great so far.
cpickman –
I cannot comment on the longevity of this battery since this is the first time I’ve used this brand to replace the factory Chamberlain branded battery, however, it fit perfectly in the battery compartment and connected to the garage door opener without any issues. Very pleased that I purchased this replacement battery since it was half the cost and it was immediately available for delivery unlike the Chamberlain replacement battery which was two to three weeks out.
teddybear Knoxville Tn. –

Decent value. When we lose power for a week, the battery does not seem to be able to handle things properly. What’s the use? Not a good backup.

The stock Chamberlain battery was rated at 4.5 Ah and this being 5 Ah is rated higher. I am pleased by the price and the ease of install of this replacement battery. The stock battery is a bit heavier than this, so time will tell as to the longevity. I got 8 years from the stock Chamberlain battery until it started beeping at me to replace it. Fast shipping too.
TK –
This replacement for the Chamberlain battery was a perfect fit. It arrived on time and was well packed. Only gave a 4 rating for longevity because I installed it only a month ago. Hopefully it lasts years and I can give it a 5.
willy –
Lasted roughly 4 years. It would be nice if it would last longer. Easy install

Quick delivery. Easy installation. Right size. As for durability can?t say as I haven?t long enough. Would buy again.
Clinton Massey –
The battery was a little lighter then the original battery. Not sure if that will mean is has less power or will have a shorter life. I bought this for a back up battery for my garage door opener. It fit just fine and my ?bad battery alarm? finally stopped.I got this one because it was cheap, but that was the only reason. I would recommend this if you have the money going OE would be the best because you know how long it will last.
Speedy Electron –
We got almost exactly four years of life from the same make/model of replacement battery for the original Chamberlin one (which goes for more the 2X) For this price point, that was good enough for us to order another as replacement. Now if you are here I’m sure you know the life of the battery is somewhat determined by the Chamberlin unit . Once it decides the battery needs replacing, it begins to beep. Not as bad as a Smoke Detector but close to it and at least it’s in the garage….still irritating.
Tony –
It was easy to install, and seems to be working as expected for much less $.
Adam Brown –
It?s a direct replacement for my garage door opener. In 5 years I will buy another one to replace this one. No complaints.

This product is a perfectly capable replacement for the OEM battery. The dimensions are perfectly compatible, and it comes with the proper lead. When mine yeah, I noticed the battery leads at Walmart, and the entire project was fully sealed unlike some other vendors. I took probably as much time to install, as it was to order- virtually none at all. It’s been installed for over a month, and I have tested it several times. I have no doubt that this battery will continue to operate at least as long as the OEM battery.
Kenneth Stanley –
This item was delivered quickly. It was a an exact fit, form, and function replacement of the original battery. It was half the price of the OEM replacement battery.

Great replacement for the Chamberlain battery. Perfect Fit. Longevity is unknown. Has been in use for a month and tested weekly.
Kris V Murthy –
Good product.
D. DEGEORGE –
This is a compatible replacement battery, at a fraction (around 1/3) of the cost from Sears or Chamberlain. While only time will tell about the durability of the battery, I have to note that it would not have to last more than 3 years to equal the life of the original. This battery, unlike some of its predecessors and competitors, fits into the unit’s battery compartment easily and connects to the wiring exactly the same as the original–no adapting of the terminals or additional wires needed.

Exact fit, same size as original battery. Just hope it lasts as long.
Luv2Ski –
Prompt shipping and good packaging. The Mighty Max fit just a tad snugly in my Chamberlain GDO which is now happy and working again. I let the old battery get so depleted that it apparently caused the wireless receiver to forget the remote codes. After replacing it with this battery and reprogramming/relearning the remotes, everything is working fine now 6 weeks later with no problems whatsoever.
Rob –
Needed a replacement for my whisper drive Chamberlain garage door opener. Seems to work just fine. The OEM battery lasted 7 years.

Plug and play compatible with my Chamberlain door opener.
Jimbo –
delivered as promised and is working fine
Customer –
Worked perfectly! Thank you for you quick response??
Nocturne –
This was a replacement for a Chamberlin garage door battery that had to be replaced. The battery was packed well, with lead covers to protect the leads from becoming bent during transit. I’m not able to assess it’s longevity or its ability to sustain enough charge to open the garage door several times if the home power is interrupted. However, given the quality of the battery exterior, clear writing on its side (inferior products often have misspelled words, inattention to quality of the print and information), and packaging, with contact from seller asking if the product was what I wanted, I respect their desire to produce a quality product for the consumer.
Shaun –
Perfect fit for my Chamberlain garage opener. Hoping to a few years out of it. Way better than paying twice as much for OEM battery. Only gave it 4 starts cause it is not OEM battery
Aly –
I was glad to find this battery. The price is very reasonable. My last battery lasted 3 years. I like knowing that if the power goes out, I can still operate my garage door.

The replacement battery was an exact match to the original. I removed the old and installed the replacement quite readily, including connecting the push-on garage door opener’s wiring connectors. The battery charged immediately started to charge, meanwhile the garage door opener worked perfectly. The new battery was fully charged in 24-48 hours.

We used this battery as a replacement for the beeping one in our Sears garage door opener that we purchased about 3 years ago. The battery arrived quickly & it fit perfectly. It looked like the battery we pulled out. Another reviewer stated she could not tell if it had the same specs as the original battery, but the battery we received was clearly marked with information & just as pictured on the site. It has been in place now for about 3 weeks, so time will tell about its sustainability. Very pleased with the purchase.

C. Lattimer –
Got a dead-on-arrival battery that the Chamberlain opener could not charge. Figured out how to send an email thru to the company and they told me to keep charging it. After a week, no charge. Emailed again and Mighty Max immediately sent a replacement. This worked great — the opener accepted it, charged it, and it tested perfectly by raising the door when I unhooked the AC power. So took off a star for the dead battery but company earned the other four with great customer service.
