This piece is one (1) step above the floating balls hydrometer. I’m interested in finding the percentage difference in specific gravities after the temperature of the electrolytes has been applied at 0.003, (plus or minus) for every degree, Fahrenheit different than 77.0 degrees. This being said, having a hydrometer with a float is important, but when the float scale is just over two (2) inches long with under one-half (1/2) of an inch in the green zone does me little good other than to tell me, Yeah, it’s charged. Now I gotta keep looking for a REAL hydrometer. (I had one, but the float fell through the drainboard and busted.)
