Alot of honda Ruckuses will never crack 2000 miles . They sit alot. I own 4 of them and even though i try to make sure each gets some exercise they still sit. Colder climate bikes sit the most. I replaced 3 or 4 lead acid batteries before finally getting frusterated. The 2 biggest terminal afflictions for a lead acid battery is sitting, and bouncing around. Both of these issues a ruckus has aplenty. I have purchased a few of these little mighty max batteries and I have to say, for the cost they are an excellent buy. I have had one in my 11 Ruckus for a few years now. It has always cranked right up after sitting all Michigan Winter ( which seems like 11 months any more) without a battery tender installed. The job is not difficult. If you can turn a philips screwdriver you can change this battery. It does fit just a tad looser side to side. It doesnt move at all but as a precaution I cut a piece of high density closed cell foam and placed it between the hold down bracket and the battery. You dont have to do this but I would recommend it. Bottom line is this little guy is half the price of the auto parts stores…or even Walmart for that matter. Its one of the first additions I make to a new bike. They seem to work great, have plenty of cranking power and so far…last awhile. Just make sure its fully charged before storage or use a 2a battery tender and you will be fine. Or if you are feeling froggy you can just remove it and plop it on the nightstand next to your bed. To remind you its winter time…and winter sucks for riding a ruckus!

Fits the little Ruckus great, installs easy. The terminals can be configured to bolt on top or on the side. I always use a float charger, so my my battery life is generally pretty long. The Mighty Max has only been installed for a month now, so I can’t speak to the long-term lifespan. That said, I have had good results with the brand and expect it to last for at least several years. It does provide good cold starting power and seems well-sealed to avoid leaks.

Quality little battery! Holds charge well. Use it on my atv, and it usually sits for a month before being fired up, starts everytime wih this battery. For winter time i usally pull the battery out and store it in a heated room (makes batteries last longer)

The 130 CCA really seems to pop my Honda Ruckus to life. No problems starting. Each Minnesota winter it has just sat in the corner and when I crank it in the spring it has all the juice needed to get the Ruckus started. Would definitely buy this battery again.
