The YTZ7S GEL is a 12V 6AH GEL (Maintenance Free) battery. Requires no addition of water during the life of the battery. The Mighty Max YTZ7S GEL is a TRUE DEEP CYCLE battery that can be mounted in any position, requires no maintenance. When a Gel Cell battery is charged, no hazardous fumes escape the battery case, gases are processed within the battery itself.

    Huh? Wha?….It’s a gel battery, ready to go, works fine…so far….but here’s the kicker: You can add electrolyte if you want to for extended life… What the hell does that mean? Now I’m a former Porsche mechanic, Toyota Service manager and mobile tool truck dealer…and I done fer shure ain’t never seen nothing like this. So I called my local wholesale battery house. They’ve never heard of this concept either….I sure would like to hear more about it’s life expectancy, wet or dry…If it’s dry, you can mount it at any attitude or safely put it in your quad or dirt bike that you regularly flip over. But I’ve put this in a little scooter which should stay upright if I do my part…..6 month update: Junk…lost charge weekly, won’t hold charge anymore. No point isolating if it’s just a bad cell. There are enough bad reviews on this.

I just bought the Mighty Max Group 35 AGM battery for my 2014 Infiniti Q60. It was well packaged and arrived in good condition. It comes with a 3yr warranty, which you can extend by 3 months upon registering the product at the mighty max website. They then sent me the offer of an extra 3 month warranty for writing a review. So now the warranty should be for 3 years and 6 months. Hope it lasts as long as the original car battery, which it is replacing. All good so far, so I gave it 4 stars.
