The YTX14AH GEL is a 12V 12AH GEL (Maintenance Free) battery. Requires no addition of water during the life of the battery. The Mighty Max YTX14AH GEL is a TRUE DEEP CYCLE battery that can be mounted in any position, requires no maintenance. When a Gel Cell battery is charged, no hazardous fumes escape the battery case, gases are processed within the battery itself.

    This battery so far has been a good battery. My 570 starts right up and operates as expected. The only reason for the four stars rating is the battery is smaller than the OEM battery so I had to add a small block of wood underneath it so I can strap it down using the factory battery strap. Otherwise it’s a good battery.

The battery on my 2007 John Deere Z225 mower was failing, so I looked around for a replacement. I found the Mighty Max battery on Walmart's website along with it being sold on several other sites. The reviews I read on various sites were very positive.
The battery was not in store at my local Walmart, so I ordered it through them on line. I figure I can recycle my old battery there.
My new battery arrived in just a couple days via FedEx in perfect condition. It was fully charged and included new terminal bolts. It fit into the mower correctly and performs as expected. I would purchase again and recommend.
