I have gone through 2 of these batteries. They stop holding a charge within a couple weeks depending on usage.

For all those saying it dies fast. You may have another issue. Bad connections, weak charging coils, bad relays, or simply a bad ground that causes back feeding can do all this. Usually I see these problems crop up with a new battery within the first few weeks. But a good battery will last a few months before these issue crop up. Just an fyi. Used one like this from another retailer and it works fine. Power sport vehicles tend to get neglected, often sitting for extended periods, or getting dirty without being cleaned regularly. So odds are, half of the negative reviews are caused by underlying issues with the vehicle itself. I work on vehicles in the power sports family regularly. In fact, I have four buggies, 3 atvs, 2 go karts, and a dirtbike in my shop currently for different repairs. Not a sponsored review, just simply information for people to utilize in determining if the battery is the real problem. If you are not experienced in diagnostics for this kind of thing. I am willing to bet there is a small repair shop like mine near you. Lots of us out there, that fix and maintain small engines. Don’t just assume it needs to go to a big repair shop, to cost 10x the price, to get it done right. Don’t get me wrong, many are good. But there tends to be newbies that are still learning, working at those places. Same with oil changes for your car. Many of them have never held a wrench before they got that job. So, check around, use google maps and FB groups. You will probably find somebody. If not, hit up YouTube, might find a step by step video.

I looked up the information on replacing the battery for my 50cc TaoTao scooter, this battery was recommended as a replacement. When I compared it to the old battery , I was a little nervous because the old one said 5v at the end and this one said 4v. However, after installing it and taking it for a ride, all fears were groundless. It performed beautifully.
