The YTX9-BS GEL is a 12V 8AH GEL (Maintenance Free) battery. Requires no addition of water during the life of the battery. The Mighty Max YTX9-BS GEL is a TRUE DEEP CYCLE battery that can be mounted in any position, requires no maintenance. When a Gel Cell battery is charged, no hazardous fumes escape the battery case, gases are processed within the battery itself.

    Thank you for making such a good product. Great product in fact, considering what it is capable of providing in the way of service and size! The price is wayyyy reasonable, in fact, may be the best battery deal I’ve scored in recent years. I am using on a very large 9k generator in a miserable hot and very cold environment. Highly recommend.

    Today, it is zero degrees. Last night with wind chill, it was -8. It doesn’t matter. When I go out to start my generator, it starts with the push of a button first time. I try to start it after cold spells like this or at least every few weeks in the winter to keep the battery charged, but i still find it amazing that this little battery does the job every time.

I purchased this battery to replace the original battery in my 10 year old Proseries jump pack. The battery was well packed with Styrofoam and an insert to prevent movement within the box the battery was shipped in. Also had plastic covers over the battery terminals, and new screws. I didn't like that the metric bolts were replaced with smaller metric screws, but that is not a big deal to worry about.
