    I don’t understand why this battery, which is a backup and therefore never really gets used, lasted only 10 or 11 months. While the $20 price tag is attractive, because the battery life is so short, I’m not sure it is a good value.

    Our Verizon box has the back up battery for our home phone. Yeah, I’m one of those hold outs who still has a home phone. When the box starts beeping, I know to replace the battery. I can’t say I’ve tested the batteries life when the power goes out as our phones are wireless. I do have a corded phone for an emergency but haven’t had to use it in many many years. So ultimately, this is a big beep stopper I guess! The beeping occurs every three years or so I think. Shipping was quick and installation was very easy. Exact fit.

    My only dislike is Verizon. Their FIOS product beeps mercilessly when the battery winds down, and will not work if you take it out. The replacement battery I ordered stopped the beeping! This is a great product at a discount price that solved my issue.

    I first used the Might Max when my upper battery was reporting problems in my Verizon/Frontier FiOS ONT backup box. Swapped it out and no problem (been a year so far), so when the bottom OEM battery failed, I went right back to the Mighty Max and problem is again solved. If you are getting the replace battery idiot light on your battery backup for your FiOS setup, this is the one to get and it is literally a 2 minute install. THere is just a snap on cover and 2 battery connectors. Could not be easier.

    Had a hard time figuring out why there was an intermediate beeping in the basement, after discovering the sound was a warning of low battery life in the Verizon box, I looked to purchase a replacement from Verizon. After seeing the price they posted for a new battery back up, I had to look around for a more reasonable solution. Mightymax was HALF the cost and has the same specs as the Verizon battery. Why throw away money when you can buy the same thing for less? The battery works perfectly and solved my problem. Never hesitate to save money when the products are the same.     This is the third MightyMax battery I’ve purchased to replace my original Fios battery. First one lasted about 18 months – that’s fine. But the most recent one was just over ten months – which is not good for a never used backup. Will give it one more try – but if it last less than one year, will try an alternative.

    I used this as a replacement battery for my FIOS telephone and it lasted 19-months, which is longer than the warranty but less than an unused standby battery should last (in my opinion). If it was one=half the cost of the GS brand, it would be acceptable since it lasts one-half as long.
