After the OEM proprietary battery died in my kiddo’s Power Wheels Dune Racer and I saw how much Fischer Price wanted for a new one, I decided to cut off the factory plug and do a simple crimping and heat shrinking of female spade terminals to rewire for this battery. I’m glad I did! The thing runs better than ever. I also picked up a NOCO Genius G750 smart charger. The OEM Fischer Price wall charger doesn’t know when to shut off, so you end up over charging your battery. One last bonus is this Mighty Maxx fit perfectly in the Dune Racer battery compartment, which was just a coincidence but was nice that I didn’t have to build a cradle.FYI both this battery and the charger cost less than HALF of what Fischer Price wants for an OEM replacement battery.
