My old 2006 scooter used only couple times a week has several times this year failed to start causing me to put its battery on charger about every two months. I looked at several batteries on this site that could work in my Kymco People 150cc motorscooter. I decided on this one based merely on fact that its measurements shown in display pictures matched most closely with the boxed space it will fit into on my bike. Battery arrived fast packaged in small tight fit box easy to open to find it thinly wrapped in few layers of crinkled brown kraft paper not really thick enough to provide impact protection during shipment as box dented with corners smashed all around. Battery when unpacked seemed okay and could see gel splattered around under clear plastic top cover. To assure fully charged before using it, I connected battery charger at slowest charge setting overnight then next day put into scooter. Turned ignition and engine instantly started up more robust than it did on previous old one this one replaces. Except for worrisome packaging, I feel satisfied with start power this battery provides and its price.

This battery worked great in my Kymco for about 3 months, but is now completely dead after proper storage through the winter. It will not charge with a battery charger or trickle down charger.

Had a minor issue filling the acid…a couple of the seals did not puncture and broke the. Plastic that pierces the seal on the bottle pack. Made it a bit harder to pour but it’s good.

This battery is kickass ! No problems with leaving it off the trickle charge for a week. My scooter started right up without hesitation !!! Super happy with my purchase ! I have a portable charger and I connected it to give it a boost, it started right away and hasn’t needed another charge for the past few weeks at all ! My last battery constantly need a charge . It also fit easily into my battery space and only needed a screw driver and wrench to install it.Easy peasy !!
