The first battery we received was leaking however acid never made it past the excellent barriers in shipping containment. Contacted the seller and they were awesome in taking care of the situation, had a replacement battery within a few days. Thus far if could would give more stars(Exception longevity – placed stars in the middle, as uncertain about life of, benefit of a doubt being a battery after all.). Bought this in a rush. Battery has been holding a good charge for a few weeks now. No starting issues so far. No battery acid pouring and measuring which is nice. I did put it on my small charger before installing and starting my x320 John Deere mower.

This thing actually came with 100% charge out of the box. Tested on an $80 digital charger. And it sat for a good few days before I even touched it. I don’t know if I’ve ever seen that with any local off-the-shelf bought batteries in my entire life. Usually they need a little topping off charge before use. And cranked over the 23 HP Kawi on my Z that had been sitting all winter through 2 extended cranks till it fired up. So I am well please with this thing so far. I will report back if this thing doesn’t last at least a few years. But glad I rolled the dice on this and worth the extra few bucks so far. Also once this battery is at 100% it just stays there. I have my Z, 2 tractors, and an old dying spare battery I usually rotate the charger around on. And granted my other batteries have a year or two under their belt already but I’m accustomed to batteries even in good shape dipping to 90 -95% after sitting a week or two. This Mighty Max so far is just rock solid. I hope it lasts. As a disclaimer, I could have just got a good one. You know how you get two identical batteries bought at the same time. Basically same use, and cared for the same. But one lasts maybe 3 years the other lasts 7 somehow. Sometimes the manufacturing process, humidity, lunar phase, and alignment of the stars just come together. So it could be that. Or these things could be genuinely better batteries in general. I guess time and more reviews will tell.

My original battery dies after 2 seasons, so I referenced the replacement called out in the manual. The dimensions on the replacement battery were larger than the original and therefore would require modification in order for it to fit. I researched and found that the might max model for Craftsman was identical for the battery used for the Club Cadet as you can see from the picture, no modifications were necessary.Hope this helps..
