The Mighty Max YTX9-BS GEL is a TRUE DEEP CYCLE battery that can be mounted in any position, requires no maintenance. When a Gel Cell battery is charged, no hazardous fumes escape the battery case, gases are processed within the battery itself.

Bought this as a replacement for my RE Himalayan. The stock battery pretty much sucks, so this has been exponentially better. No issues on startups like I was experiencing in owning the bike the first few months of owning it new. The nice thing is if I decided to mount it horizontally, I could. Little bit lighter, kind of a pain to get in the battery box, but that’s not their fault, poor design by RE, but all in all, value, and overall performance is worth it for me.

Works well in my Honda TRX500 and TRX420 although shorter than OEM battery so time will tell if it has enough capacity. Really like that it actually shipped to Alaska!
