The terminals on a 6-DZM-20 battery are flush with the top of the battery, and this battery has the terminals recessed slightly. Not an issue for most usages, but for my lawn mower, the existing cables were just a bit too short and the cable rings too stiff to mount the batteries back to back the way the existing batteries were. Mounting the batteries front to front puts the terminals dangerously close to each other. I had a nice light show due to my clumsiness, but fortunately the batteries still function just fine. I don’t know how the batteries will fair long term, but for now it is nice to be able to mow my entire lawn at once instead of needing multiple recharges.
