This battery was a perfect fit for my Troy-Bilt/Briggs & Stratton generator. A life saver since the original part appears to be unavailable. Installation turned out to be a real knuckle buster, but that’s not the battery’s fault.

My model 030477 Troy-Bilt generator needed a New battery. The mfg part number, 313282GS, was both very expensive and out of stock at Briggs and Stratton. So I considered this battery and contacted Mighty Max with some questions. They were most helpful. The battery will fit, but the connectors are blade rather than the screw in M5 Terminals. While I probably could have found a way to make this work, I found that Duracell made a replacement (DURA12-18C/FR) with the proper terminal type and purchased it. It fits well, the terminals are positioned slightly further apart, but the existing wires had no problems with the connection. It took about 15 minutes. If you remove the 2 front screws holding the battery retainer and loosen the 2 rear ones it is pretty easy. While I did not purchase the Might Max part, I thought this review would be helpful.

It is a battery. Unable to provide a review on value and longevity. Installed a few weeks ago. Installation was good. The outside dimensions and contours matched the original battery. It was received in a timely manner and was almost fully charged. Only required a quick last minute charge to be fully ready. Once installed, equipment (portable generator) turned over and started. Time and weather will tell how good of product. Original lasted eight years.

I purchased this to replace the old battery on my generator. My last one was always on trickle charge and lasted over 5 years with regular use. Fingers crossed for a similar longevity. Installation was not an issue.

After a frustrating couple of days of looking for a replacement battery for my Troy Bilt emergency generator, there was nothing available locally. I decided to order a battery specifically made for it, I am glad I did. It fit perfectly, and the generator started right up, and has started without problems anytime I tried it. Have used a couple of Mighty Max batteries in tractors and ATVs. Always show up charged and ready to go. This was a direct fit replacement for the battery Troy Bilt supplied with our XP7000 generator. Factory battery lasted about 6 months before it would not turn the motor or hold a charged. Swapped it out today and found that the factory battery had cracked on two sides. Great price for this. Switched from using the factory supplied trickle charger to a Yuasa maintenance charger.
