Its a little larger than some other batteries in its class, but not by much and its much more reasonably priced. I looked around a good bit and couldn’t come close to the price for a name brand battery. The shipping was much faster than expected and the battery arrived in good shape. The box was beat up, but the battery was well protected. One nice feature of the battery is the flat post with holes. They are solidly built, not flimsy like some other batteries. We are ordering another as a backup for this one because its cheap enough to make sense.*update* 30 charges and still going strong. very happy with purchase.

I use this battery with my Minn Kota 30 thrust and it runs all day with power to spare. I recharge it at the end of a 6 hour fishing trip, but the charger only shows a 50% loss of power. I carry it in a plastic box lined lunch pail from Walmart and strap it down with a bungee cord, while trolling.

I bought this to power a small Minn Kota Endura 30. I have it attached to a 12 ft O’Day Widgeon Sailboat for those days when the wind dies and you don’t feel like paddling back to shore. I took it out and used it for well over an hour at varied speeds and it still seemed to be delivering full power. I bought this battery mostly due the suggestion that folks who bought a MinnKota trolling motor also bought this. The battery was delivered in about four days, charged up just fine and performs exactly like other reviews said it would. Installed on my kayak, it can run non stop for about an hour at full (fifth) speed. If I want to cruise around at a lower speed (2 or 3) the possibilities increase dramatically. The other evening I was out and after an hour and a half, I had only used about one third of the battery capacity. I’m satisfied.

I ordered this battery to power the WaterSnake 18 lb. thrust trolling motor that I mounted on my wife’s kayak. Had a problem with the first battery that was shipped to me. It had a deep gouge in the back bottom left hand corner. The box that the battery was packed in was crushed in, directly over the damage on the battery,but the box that the battery was shipped in had no damage. I contacted Mighty Max and they sent a replacement battery that was perfect, I had to use the battery out of my garden tractor for one trip, we have another trip planned next weekend, with the new battery.

I bought this product based on the recommendation of , customer feedback and the seller. Unfortunately, this battery doesn’t really fit the bill for what i expected. I bought this battery for my Minn Kota C2 40 trolling motor. The first/only time i took it out this past weekend (after charging the day before) the battery died within 1 1/2 hours on the water. I purchased an accompanied power center to check the balance of power throughout my short trip and noticed that it it went from 100% when i first attached the motor to the battery to literally half about 45 mins later. I also noticed that there was some burn to the connectors (not really sure what this is from) nonetheless, each post was so hot! i had to wait out the temp and row myself back to the dock. I will be uploading pics soon maybe someone can assist or have had the same issue. Will contact the seller.

After about 20 minutes of trolling, the motor indicated no reduction in battery power. The motor has 5 LED lights indicating available power from the battery. All 5 were still lit after 20 minutes of trolling (using the lower range of speeds available).

I made a detachable mount for my kayak that i attached a trolling motor to and have run at least 20 full days of fishing and trolling. I have yet to run this battery dead. My motor is a 20 trust made for kayaks and inflatables. It is still a bit heavy at 20s but worth carrying the weight. Have suggested to friends and will definitely suggest this product to anyone looking for a mid size sealed battery.

Very happy with this battery. Did everything I needed it to do and then some. I used it on my Seahawk 4 inflatable boat as well as hooking it up to the inverter for my pump. We carried 2 passengers and a cooler on the boat with battery case. Started the day at about noon and ran till 5 PM on an open lake. Varying speeds between three and five on a diehard 30 pound thrust trolling motor starting at 13.2V and ended the day around 11.9V. Very good for what I needed it for.

Customer service was awesomeUpdate about two years later– I sold my fishing boat but kept the batteries, on a camping trip my RV batteries quit and I had two of these just for out door lights and things. I removed the two large 45 amp hour batteries and hooked up these little guys, to my amazement these two small batteries work excellent. Since that time I purchased two more along with a 2000 watt inverter and solar panels. This set up is awesome, I do not understand why but these work way better than a regular deep cycle battery. My friend has two 100 amp hour batteries and his deplete much faster than my four battery set up.

Great little battery. I paralleled 2 together and ran my 40 lb. thrust trolling motor at 5 for 5 hrs. and I still had 10.5 volts.

For a light and small battery, it packs quite a punch using it on my 16 canoe with a 30 Minn Kota. On the mid setting,3, it will cruise for about 3 hours. On the Hi setting,5, I have run it for an hour straight and it still had not run out of juice. Good balance of size, weight, and power for a small craft like a canoe.

For a small battery, it does very well. I use it for a spare starting battery for my 70 hp outboard, and for slow trolling with my C30 MinnKota motor, which gets a couple of hours before the battery is half spent. The battery arrived at my home in a few days, and was fully charged (12.83v.) in the box. No complaints about anything. A very good value.

Since it is smaller (and lighter) it naturally has less power than what one would consider normal sized so must realize one can not travel all day with it. For a three to four hour fishing trip it held up fine with the tolling motor on a 14 ft. boat with two 200 lb. old geezers on board.I do recommend putting it on charge immediately on returning home as it does take a while to recharge.

Just ordered a second one of these because two will fit into my battery center. I will use one for my Minn Kota Endura C2 30 and the second for my Fish Locator ( to avoid and interference). If the motor starts to go low, I’ll just switch on to another and be sure I have a strong motor to finish out the day. Also, the Finder will work well on a reduced charge for as long as I would need it to. So, all that flexibility in one battery management-center case.

This is over expectation, I am very happy with this battery, I have a customized Kayak and I have installed this on serial connection with a 20 AMP fuse to my Minkotta and it fits and works great, shortly little bit heavy but of course for the power it gives it worth it.

Using these batteries on a 16 foot drift boat and I bought two to connect in series for my 24 volt 80 lb thrust Minn Kota. I did not think they would deliver enough AH to power that motor; and I should not have worried, way lots of power and lots in reserve. I can run for 3-4 hours at fairly high to full on and drain the batteries to about half, so there is plenty in reserve for my needs on the river.

I’m using it with a Minn Kota 30lb thrust motor. I run the motor at max speed most of the time. Using it on an inflatable boat on a lake. I get about 3 hrs run time. Probably would get 4+ at lower speeds. There’s my 8yr old at the helm on a river.

Two batteries for 70AH and 10lbs less than a single 75AH battery. Working great on my kayak where weight is a major factor. I haven’t run them over 15 min on a 36lb trolling motor but can tell that together they’ll go much longer.
