I got these to grow a solar system off grid. I love them, especially since they can be installed inside safely. I had traditional lead acid batteries for my system, stolen, since they had to be outside. Very thankful for these! I sure hope I can get two more soon before summer comes. I live in Arizona with brutal summers. With gas prices going up, I’m trying to get enough power to run a swamp cooler continually. Air conditioning will be too expensive to run with a gas or propane generator with the continual fuel price increases.

I’m using it for the pellet stove, boiler and modem and router so the genny don’t need to run 24/7. Contrary to other reviews, this is rated for a 27 Amp charge but the harder the charge or discharge, the shorter life it will have. Also, the deeper the discharge, the shorter the life. It’s just the nature of this 1980’s AGM technology. Still, in their element, they are excellent. It came with super long bolts—like maybe 25 mm!—so a 300 Amp ring terminal is no problem at all! Safety Note: Ensure that you use a fuse to protect your wires in case of a short since the SSCR is an insane 1800 Amps!

Excellent battery for price. This was the first rv battery I bought and wanted to test out an inexpensive 100ah battery while living off grid. Works great so far for basic electrical 12v needs like inside lights, charging iPhone & iPad, internet modem and water pump. Lasted about a week of use with those things before discharging to about 70% of battery life and charging with smart charger and generator.

The battery I ordered had terminals for bolts and washers. The batteries I received all had lead posts and one of the batteries didn’t have any hardware at all.I specifically wanted those nice flush mounting holes but ended up with these ugly posts.

Batteries work great after installing, but having 6mm posts came as a surprise and it was really annoying to have to deal with. I also had to buy longer 6mm bolts from Home Depot so I could fit all my connections to it, the supplied bolts are really short.

I now have 2 of these 100ah deep cycle AGM batteries hooked up in parallel and being charged full time by 2 100 Watt solar panels. They run a 150 Watt freezer via a 1200 Watt inverter 24 hours a day. I’ve also tested them running the freezer plus a TV, 4K Firestick, PS4 Pro, 2 led lights, a low power PC, router, modem, switches, 2 Wyze cams and 4g mini WiFi tower (totalling 550Watts), no problem! Will do more testing to see just how long it can run that setup with and without solar recharging. Currently (running just the freezer), in summer time with about 8 hours of sun/fog, right before morning light they get down to about 12.5 Volts at the lowest, so they are working perfectly. Will be awesome to have this setup available during power outages (Thanks for the inspiration PGE!). Time will tell how many cycles I get out of these. Great so far!

I have been using smaller Mighty Max batteries for years at work to power my UPS backup power supplies. I needed a storage battery for a solar power system that I am building to recharge our plug in electric hybrid car. I already have one of these Mighty Max batteries, I just needed more capacity to store the solar energy. Good, well made batteries that hold up well over time. I will probably buy more of these as I get my charging system up to speed.

So far it is working very well. I am using it in a small electric boat and it is holding its charge well. As it should it is brand new. The one thing I wish they would have done is put a note on weather or not you need to charge it first . I did just to be safe.
