I use this battery to run a small 12 V DC water pump that circulates water in my hydroponic garden. The battery is charged by a small (50 Watt) solar panel. Water is stored in an attached 5 gallon bucket on the A frame hydroponic garden and keeps the plants in water.The battery arrived quickly and was charged. It was well packed and when I installed it using the solar panel for charging it ran the little pump nicely.I put the battery in a weather proof container and strapped that to the A frame hydroponic garden system I have.I have had this for several weeks now and have discovered on very cloudy / overcast days the battery may not get fully charged. I don’t think this is an issue with the battery or the solar panel since everything works again on the next sunny day.

The size & dimensions of this battery matched what fits my field & brush mower. The battery came fully charged & easily starts my engine. My concern is the weak packaging. The cardboard box was strongly banded, however the cardboard box was poor quality with inadequate inside packing. The thin styrofoam pad on the top of the battery was crumbled & one of the top corners had crush damage which does not appear to have breeched the battery case.

mounting these two batteries on my boat made size a big concideration, the two fit together in one hole. the two batteries ran the trolling motor all day long, pulling by 17 foot boat up stream and down and was still showing full power at the end of the day. Only thing is that there is no OFF switch to the motor, it has to be disconnected from the batteries.

Now the question is… Will it last as long as the original did? Only time will tell on that one. I will also state that the cost for this battery, $38.99, is a whole lot better than the $64.99+ that I saw for the replacement battery from other places. So value for the $$$ = 5 stars, Easy to install = 5 stars, however Longevity = unknown… Only time will tell.

This is the same type of battery that came with my old Zappy Electric Bicycle. It was getting kinda slow so I order this to replace it.Seems like something inside went very wrong. Unable to get power in or out, it reads 6v on my multimeter, but it will not light my test light. Even after 24 hours on a battery charger. Fortunately, it was under a year old so under warranty. They said they needed the date code off it, but there wasn’t any such thing on my unit. Didn’t seem to faze them. The folks on the phone offered to send a new one, I’ll update when it arrives.EDIT: New battery arrive today, only took a few days. That’s great warranty service at least. Bumped up a star

The battery comes with screw terminal binding posts, that supports the 12AWG solid wire connected to it. I have test-run the radio equipment at short-burst full load, with no loss or degraded audio and/or strong RF signals. The battery fills-in the gap when the drain/load exceeds the external power supply and runs as a UPS backup for my 10/12 Meter Amateur radio and Galaxy CB radio. Not sure of the duration yet.

Bought this as a replacement for a Power Wheels Kawasaki KFX ATV. This was 2/3 the price and twice the aH of the OEM battery. Had to modify the battery area a little but it took a few minutes and was easy. Added an inline fuse for mine just to be safe. You can even cut the battery connector off the old battery and use it with this one. Came charged. Lasts a long time with the kids running it hard.

Much easier to use, lighter, and smaller than a ‘regular’ car battery for this purpose. It’s probably only 15lbs (6.8kg) and it’s only 7 inches wide, 7 inches tall, and 3 inches deep. This is the one to buy for a clay thrower!EDIT: 2 years later and it?s still perfect. Launched over 500 clays the other day of the course of 4 hours or so, and it seemed to still have way more life in it. Buy this one for your clay throwers!

I’ve been using this battery in combination with a trickle charger to power the fridge on my camper in the backyard (just DC, not the converter). Works great for that. It will be easy to remove and bring inside when the summer is over and I can keep it in good shape all winter. Seems to be a good quality AGM SLA battery. This is not 19AH, it is 18AH. The serial No is a little misleading. It still has the size and shape of the 19 AH version. I installed this in my 10 year old Black&Decker power supply/portable car starter. It works fine. I can’t attest to durability right now, I will revisit this review if it fails prematurely.

first time we used it it held a charge for a couple hours. The second time it did not last that long. Keep it charged if you are wanting to use it regularly. We hooked it up to a battery maintainer so if it is just sitting and drains the battery the battery maintainer will make sure it stays charged.

I have this battery powering outdoor lights. It is charged by a single 100w solar panel. Runs 10 or 12 pathway lights every evening. The battery arrived quickly. It was well packaged and it was fully charged. Bolts and nuts for cable attachment were included. Probably not your typical use for this battery but it works well for mt application.

My NOCO G3500 Genius charger indicated each battery was fully charged about 3-5 minutes after putting the charger on them so they were both essentially fully charged on arrival. I bought two of these to use in my kids’ Power Wheels vehicles. The Power Wheels (a Jeep and a Mustang) were some yard sale finds – the vehicles were ok, but batteries were worn out. These Mighty Max batteries are a tight fit, but DO fit. No surprise, but to use them for this purpose, you need to do some minor, very basic wiring. If you are so inclined, I’d recommend you check YouTube for instructions. I chose these specific batteries for several reasons. The nut-and-bolt terminals allow for very secure connections to the battery. The provided dimensions told me they should fit. The sealed AGM format means they can be mounted safely in any direction. I liked that these are advertised for their long life and capacity to recover from a deep discharge. (I was concerned that my kids would run these past the point they should be stopped and recharged.) Also, these are 18 amp-hour batteries, almost double the 9.5 amp-hours for the Power Wheels factory batteries. That extra capacity means I probably won’t see any deep discharges – in long play sessions, my kids barely made a dent in the charge (as indicated by how little time my Battery Tender charger took to recharge them.) For me, these were a great deal. Two batteries for about $70, plus a few dollars for wiring connectors and fuses; they have nearly double the capacity, and they now can be quickly connected to my Battery Tender. At the time, a factory Power Wheels battery was running about $60 (and I needed TWO).Thank you, Mighty Max! So far, so good! I expect to get a nice, long service life from these. VERY happy customer.

So far so good, I tracked almost three miles on a lake this weekend. Fished for six hours and used it to navigate around the lake. Battery works great, I load tested it for 6 hours running a 9 portable DVD player and it had power to spare.When I started the load test the battery was fully charged at 13.1 volts, it dropped to 12.7 volts fairly fast but from 12.7v to 12.5v it slowed considerably and was at 12.5v after 6 hours of load testing.I personally wouldn’t discharge this or other similar batteries below 12.1v (for longevity).

I had been looking for a small deep cycle battery to run by lights in my shed. I had a solar panel, and hooked it up to a controller and from the controller to the battery, and controller to an inverter. The system worked great, and I didn’t have to buy an expensive heavy deep cycle you can find at the local auto and dept. stores in my area. This is a solid, sealed battery which should last me a long time. Would by again for a use like this.

Hello, went fishing yesterday and used this battery to power a 30lbs. thrust trolling motor. I was on a colorado pontoon kickboat. It pushed me; agains very strong winds; running constantly on high power, with my fins in the water, and did for over 2 hours. I ended up over 2 miles from where I launched. This is battery is worth every penny. It was my first time using it. I had a full size marine battery with me also, and wanted to test this battery. Although it was delivered fully charged, but I put it on the charger for the night anyway. This battery is perfect for small crafts, and for on/off opperation for a day. The only thing left to find out is the life span of the battery, how many chargers it will take. EXCELLENT BATTERY!.

Edit: After a year of sporadic use for camping trips and patio lighting for parties (I don’t have an outdoor outlet at my house), it’s still charging perfectly and delivering power jsut as well as it did when it was new. For another 4 day camping trip last weekend, with the same equipment as last year (listed below), it still did not drain below 12v. While not in use, I put it on a charger/tender every couple months or so. I also bought an eye-to-cigarette lighter style adapter plug for it. I’ve stopped messing with the solar charger and controller because a) for the length of trips I take and the draw I have, I’ve never had to recharge and b) the crappy charge controller I bought died anyway lol, and my wall charger has one built in. I still stick a multimeter on it when in use just to be certain, but have never had a low voltage problem. This is an absolutely IDEAL battery for my application.One thing I should note is that the iPad docking stations I use are not high draw. This is intentional. They aren’t very loud, and can be charged and then used on their own internal battery. I’ve never tried this on a more powerful stereo system, because of the increased power consumption. The ones I have are the Logitech bar style ones ( has them for about $100 each) and they really don’t use a lot of juice. If you want to rock the block with your music, you’re obviously going to drain the battery faster :)Edit: Worked for charging six iPhones and two Logitech iPod docking stations (for sale on ) through a little Bestek 300w inverter, (also on ) for a four day camping trip without recharging or dropping below 12v. We were in deep shade in the woods and my solar charger was useless. I still ran the system through a charge controller to avoid overdraining, but never got to that point. The fact that this type of battery can be laid flat without risk of leaking or damage is very handy. We had plenty of music for the whole weekend. Great investment, kept all the campers happy!This was the last component I was waiting for to set up my little solar camping gadget box ! It showed up quick, fully charged and ready to rock n roll ! Will update review after it’s been in use for a while.

Works great so far, I use it in a little solar generator project, I charge it with a 50 watt panel. Mostly just to charge USB stuff, but I run a small inverter to charge my MacBook. Not sure if the battery is too small or the inverter is too inefficient, but I can charge the MacBook while connected to the panel. I am by no means an engineer, just playing around with solar, and made something useful.

While the battery may deserve 5 stars I am going to punish Mighty Max for not having the model number located somewhere on the battery. It has a nice sticker on one side that says Mighty Max Battery, powered to the max, rechargeable SLA, Must be disposed of bla bla bla […] BUT nowhere does it say that I actually got a ML18-12 ! Nowhere on the battery does it even say 12volt, 18Ah. So as a customer I really don’t even know if I got the correct battery. Next time I will order direct from Mightymax, not , and request that they make sure the battery is properly labeled.

This review is for the MightMax 12v 18Ah AGM Deep Cycle Battery. The battery came protected in the box with bubble wrap. It came with 2 screws, 4 washers, 2 nut securing washers, and 2 nuts to secure ring terminals for the positive and negative terminals. Terminals are marked via color (red for positive and black for negative). It came with a 12.9v reading out of the box.My intention is to use this battery is to make a solar generator. I connected this battery to a charge controller and then solar panels to the charge controller. After some moderate use of a DC plug and USB port on the charge controller to test a DC LED light and charge my cell phone, the battery dropped down to 12.6v. The 18 watt solar panels charged the battery back up to 12.9v in a matter of minutes. I haven’t let it charge to complete maximum voltage yet but I am happy with this battery so far and look forward to putting the entire kit together in a plastic ammo can to make a portable solar generator.

I bought this to replace the battery in my daughter’s pink barbie power wheels mustang. All I needed to do is remove the white hardware that holds the stock battery in, and it slid in snugly. If you want to do this conversion, you’ll also need to add a 30 amp fuse or breaker. You’ll also need to cut the connector off that connects to the stock battery to connect this to the car.

I have bought two of these, first one because I wasn’t sure of the quality, and then shortly there after a second. Both were to replace failed UPS batteries in an APC UPS I had gotten which is being used for a server rack in my garage. The server rack pulls a steady 4 amps at idle and these batteries handle the load for 30 minutes with no problem. Now that I think of it I should see just how long it takes to get to 90% discharged and how the batteries tolerate it.Once completed, I’ll update this review.Other than that they appear to be of high quality and arrived very quickly. The 4 stars is because they have sent me several emails now requesting this review and I’m in a bad mood. So there. 🙂 Once I do the discharge test I’ll fix the star count b/c I do think these are a great value.

What does one say about a battery? It does what it is supposed to. Needed charging when installed but no issues. Would recommend, and will buy again as I have other equipment using the same type of battery.

Very good for the price! Seemed to be charged when I received it. With that being said, I did leave it on a battery maintainer overnight just to be sure. It’s powering an amplifier in a radio cooler. 400 watts, and 4 speakers. Went to the river this past weekend, 6 hour float…plus about two hours of hanging out…and the battery never skipped a beat. Went home, and it wasn’t even discharged as much as I thought it might.Great purchase and definitely recommended!

Needed a replacement 12v, 18ah battery for a Briggs & Stratton generator starter. This one met the requirements, fit the battery holder compartment precisely, with only a minor tweak for the cable connections. Battery arrived almost fully charged (13.54 volts), more than enough to start the generator on first push of the start button. Excellent price, which included shipping.

Using this to replace a full size marine battery in a boat of our own design. Powering a small trolling motor as an emergency device. At 14 lbs. vs. 50 lbs. it’s a blessing for loading etc.in the boat. Very powerful so far comparatively speaking. Minimal drain after 30 minutes of downstream cruising. Will update this posting as I will be using it and an inverter to run our icemaker.

I was looking for a expendable 15-24 ah battery that would last me 2-3 years on my kayak to run my gps, fish finder and navigation lights for 8+ hours. Battery arrived in the time stated and was in good condition even though I initially had doubts about packaging. Placed battery on charger in agm mode. It was at 92%charge so started to charge. Came back 15 minutes later and the sealing plate had blown off and 5 of the 6 cell caps had blown off (one cell cap was found 15+ feet away) one of the caps was not found. In this condition the battery was of no use to me as it no longrer a sealed battery. Contacted customer support and Mighty Max customer support. Mighty Max was very easy to work with and after I had sent them pictures of the battery condition Mighty Max sent a replacement battery. I am very pleased with the new battery and Mighty Max. I have raised this rating from 1 star to 4 stars because of Mighy Max’s great customer service.

I’ve used the battery for a month to run an 11.5 Briggs & Stratton engine for a riding lawnmower. It holds a charge and starts the engine every time. It is smaller than most 12 volt batteries for these engines but definitely has enough power.

This is a grate battery for the price! I ordered two of these batteries and they arrived in grate condition but were a bit sticky from the tape used for the terminals. The only thing I see that could be concerning would be the thickness of the terminals seeing how they are about two thirds the size of the batteries I originally had but other than that these are the best batteries I have

Arrived at 13.1V, Which is full enough for me. I use a battery tender jr to get to full charge. Battery is quite nice and works well.After a priority shipping issue, the company did a great job responding to the concern and made things right as can be!Boxed well and arrived safe…even after a week with USPS!
