I have an inexpensive drill set that the charger keeps dying. Replacement chargers are very expensive. I was able to rig this charger to work on my batteries.

This was the only 18v charger I could find for lead acid batteries. Pros: – easy to use – not expensive – charges in few hrs for 7Ah lead acid battery I was using for power wheels upgrade Cons: – first one was defective but thankfully seller sent a new one that worked when I told them of issue – clip on connectors are convenient however hard to keep them from touching now and then and unsure if this has short circuit protection.

Not bad for charging batteries for my modified PowerWheels. Wish the cables were a bit thicker because I feel like i have to be delicate with these. The Status Indicator light is nice to have too.

This was purchased for a power wheels type ride on battery powered truck that I upgraded to 18v. It is an excellent smart charger for this application. And it was half the price of the same thing elsewhere.
