The Mighty Max Charger provides an enhanced charging method that will not damage your batteries when left connected. Mighty Max 24V 5A charger also provides a short circuit protection, enabling the product to charge safely in most environments. Mighty Max 24V 5A charges 24V lead acid and Gel cell type Batteries. Most common use with the following wheelchairs: Pride Mobility, Hoveround, Freedom, DDC, Shoprider, E-Scooter Electra, Frank Mobility, Merits Health Products, Theradyne and many more.

Dislike how they pack the charger cord. Kinks do NOT relax, so things keep moving. Lights are way too bright. Needed to blacken the lights to dim them.

Hola buenas tardes, puse a cargar mi silla, al rededor de las 9.40 am y ya casi son las 4 y aún no termina de cargar, estamos hablando de unas baterías de 12v 55ah , es normal el tiempo de carga o tengo que detener la carga después de un tiempo justo o dejar el cargador asta que indique carga completa, se hace que ya lleva mucho tiempo y se puede dañar el cargador, de ante mano gracias

I’ve ordered this specific SKU twice and each time have received different units. Both are Mighty Max branded, but the first unit (ordered back in 2016) was much smaller and lightweight – felt kind of cheap, but got the job done. The older unit’s fan made a very quiet and almost unnoticeable air-rushing noise, sort of like gently exhaling. I ordered a second one because the original one suddenly started making a very insidious electronic hissing noise at 120Hz, the kind of noise you hear in the old mad scientist films when they’re throwing sparks all over the place. I did some testing on it and it still does seem to charge but something is clearly very unhappy inside it, so I ordered another one.The second one is much larger and beefier, feels much more solidly built. The problem with the new one is the fan – it makes a HORRENDOUS obnoxiously loud whining noise. It moves tons of air, but the noise is intolerable. I use my scooter to get to and from work, and at work I plug the scooter in outside the office. The fan is so loud that it can be heard two rooms away with the doors closed! I’m currently waiting on a replacement fan that I’ll install myself that should cut the noise down.Giving this 3 stars because of the inconsistent product and because of the scary noises from the first and the awful fan in the second. As chargers they work beautifully and charge nice and quick. If you have some basic electronics repair skills you should be able to replace the fan (if you happen to get that model). I am still going to further investigate what’s making zappy noises in the first one (hoping I can salvage it and have a spare).
