    Good to have, if you still have a few old acid batteries around. Would have given it five stars if it came with instructions. I had to look at a few you-tubes to see how to put it together.

    The company sent me the acid tester. Unfortunately, the plastic tube was taped shut. When cleaning the tube became blind and thus the whole tester unusable. I wrote to the company and recommended to change their packaging method and at the same time complained about the tester. I was sent a new tester free of charge and didn’t even have to send the old one back. This is really a first class service. I can only recommend the company.

    nice quality tester for the money !! Now I dont have to rely on an auto repair shop to tell me if my battery has any cells that are weak… Of course it can only be used on batteries that have removable caps to access the cells… Great for do-it-yourselfers !!!!

So far so good, came fully charged ready to go. For a TTR230. Will update later if there are problems. I treat my batteries well. Bring them in the house over winter when not in use and charge them periodically. So it would have to be a manufactures defect or poor quality if it doesn't last five years.
