The YTZ7S GEL is a 12V 6AH GEL (Maintenance Free) battery. Requires no addition of water during the life of the battery. The Mighty Max YTZ7S GEL is a TRUE DEEP CYCLE battery that can be mounted in any position, requires no maintenance. When a Gel Cell battery is charged, no hazardous fumes escape the battery case, gases are processed within the battery itself.

    Huh? Wha?….It’s a gel battery, ready to go, works fine…so far….but here’s the kicker: You can add electrolyte if you want to for extended life… What the hell does that mean? Now I’m a former Porsche mechanic, Toyota Service manager and mobile tool truck dealer…and I done fer shure ain’t never seen nothing like this. So I called my local wholesale battery house. They’ve never heard of this concept either….I sure would like to hear more about it’s life expectancy, wet or dry…If it’s dry, you can mount it at any attitude or safely put it in your quad or dirt bike that you regularly flip over. But I’ve put this in a little scooter which should stay upright if I do my part…..6 month update: Junk…lost charge weekly, won’t hold charge anymore. No point isolating if it’s just a bad cell. There are enough bad reviews on this.

Bought 2 12v 12AH WP12-12 SLA batteries for Mobility scooter Scout4. Purchase via Amazon they arrived via FedEx 4 days earlier than originally informed at time of order. A quick you tube search showed how to open the battery box and swap out these batteries. Currently charging them fully having tested batteries with volt/amp meter.

Just installed Mighty Max Battery in my Troy Bilt XP 7000 generator.
Purchased at Lowes. Not sure of this batteries production date but did indicate 2026.
Right now its charging, so will follow up in a day or two. Ordered 1Amp 12 volt maintainer so I can leave it plugged in charging until ready to use.

Great Battery at a Great Price. Fits perfect in a 2019 Nissan Pathfinder. Amazon delivered it laying on its side. Luckily its a AGM battery so that did not matter. I would highly recommend this battery if you need one for your car.
