I installed the new battery in an old ATV only to find it struggled to turn the engine over. I immediately blamed the battery. I then recharged the battery thinking it had arrived discharged. Again, it struggled and could not start the ATV. I checked and cleaned the solenoid and other cable contacts with the same frustrating results. However, after further investigation using a car battery I discovered it was a bad starter on the brink of failure. I replaced the starter and behold! the Mighty Max battery started the ATV (1986 Kawasaki Bayou 300) with ease!
