The YTX14-BS GEL is a 12V 12AH GEL (Maintenance Free) battery. Requires no addition of water during the life of the battery. The Mighty Max YTX14-BS GEL is a TRUE DEEP CYCLE battery that can be mounted in any position, requires no maintenance. When a Gel Cell battery is charged, no hazardous fumes escape the battery case, gases are processed within the battery itself.

    Also note that the battery DOES NOT require a vent hose due to the type of construction the battery has. Mercedes has many models that use an auxiliary battery and they are located in several places depending on the model. The GLK location is to the right of the spare tire. You have to lift out the storage tub under the rear deck floor and you will see it. There are several example videos showing replacement which are available on line. This is an easy consumer job and will save you well over $100

    perfect replacement for mercedes benz oem battery. wish it came with a vent tube cause mb’s tube won’t reach the vent hole on this battery( mb’s vent hole is located on the side where this one is on top center).

    This is NOT a direct replacement for a Mercedes auxiliary battery as stated. The terminals are side attach terminals on this battery. On the original Mercedes battery (A2115410001) the terminals attach on the top. This battery will work, but the original Mercedes cables need to be modified to fit.

So far these Might Max batteries are good but it’s only the first day and they were on charge for 12 hrs. I’ll have to come back and do an update at some point in time. Ordered them on Amazon and got them the next day. I was encouraged by Mighty Max to make this google review and post pictures to extend my warranty for 3 months but there is no way to post pictures 🤣🤣🤣 It’s been a few months and I was able to go back and edit, so here is a video I made, the rest of the photos I have deleted. Batteries are still going strong. Update 12-11-2025

They arrived within 2 days of ordering them packaging was really good I haven't put them in my MX350 yet I hit them with my multi meter fresh out of the box and got 12.4v on both batteries so that is good
