This is a new purchase . Like with any battery time will tell. It started my generator quickly so ut of the box it worked fine. My generator was listed in the ones that fit the battery. It fits but the polarity was opposite . Something I should have checked . Instead of returning it I installed it backwards . The bracket holding the battery secure does not quite fit because now the leads are in the way. I just left it off. it is not going anywhere . Other than that it works well . We see how long it lasts
