My experience with one of these is most likely just a fluke but I’m going to post just because I’m bored.. Bought one of these a month ago and now it wont hold a charge for longer than a day. But upon inspection i found a bubble in the outer plastic shell.. must have taken an impact some how and I suspect that’s the reason behind the dying battery. I bought the battery because everyone in my group on facebook suggests these as the best bang for your buck battery out there.. which I’m not doubting.. BUT it’s still a cheap battery and would always benefit investing in a better one.

Damn good price for a ATV battery. Now, if the thing only lasts! Got for a Honda Sportrax. Same connections as the LT-Z400. Arrived fully charged. (13.2 volts.) the only complaint is the weak terminal connections. They are a bit on the thin side. When I connected the ground side, the terminal was starting to twist. Mine connects from the top. This battery has the same dimensions as the one it replaced and it fit into the plastic battery box easily. I keep my battery on a Battery Doc, but they still only last 2 years.

For the price of this battery you can’t beat what you are getting. Easy instal on my LTZ 400 and it started right up. Had plenty of juice to get it started and held a good charge over the winter as well while hooked up to the trickle cycle charger. I havnt had any problems with it at all and the best part is that it was all self contained and did not have to worry about mixing or closing off the top like some other batteries.

Terminal connections are difficult to connect to starter motor wires. Battery terminals should be threaded instead of providing a threaded tab that has to be inserted into a slot before screwing in clamping bolt. Otherwise, battery seems to start my ATV Suzuki model Vinson 500 just fine.
