Mighty Max is a clear case of you get what you pay for, but in a good way. They are a budget battery, clearly. But, to be clear, they are the best budget battery I’ve found after a decade of owning ATVs and Snowmobiles. It is, again, however – a budget battery. Which means the posts are large and are a pain to get the nuts to align with the screws when connecting your +/- cables (especially in my case, when installing in a Polaris ACE150 where the battery is on the rear frame under the seat. Almost impossible without octopus arms and 8 fingers). And, speaking of posts, they are very fragile, so do NOT overtighten the nuts on the post or they will twist out of alignment – making for poor connection and premature battery failure. But, all that aside, once the battery is installed delicately, it will last you a good long time – not as long as some top-tier name brand batteries. But certainly longer than the no-name batteries that come stock in the Asian brand machines these days.
