Good quality but to attach the positive and negative’s to the terminals .. they are so short that if you try to add a battery tender it wouldn’t be long enough.

Great replacement for OEM battery in my 2009 Honda ruckus. Was sick of paying dealer prices, and this is the perfect battery! Remove 4 screws, and one 10mm bolt, and that’s about it.

I was hesitant to buy this as a replacement battery for my 2015 Ruckus because the compatibility feature said this would not fit. The recommendation was for the $90 unit that matched the OEM for the scooter. But at 1/3 the price I figured it had to be a deal if it lasted longer than the one that came with the scooter that only lasted 11 months (the same as the $90 one…). Anyway, it works great. The only issue that I had was with the positive post attachment bolt and nut. I had to slide a rolled up piece of electrical tape under the nut to ensure that the bolt could get started in threading the nut – which did the trick. The engine started right up and the battery will have paid for itself if it lasts 3 months so I’m happy. It will fit your Ruckus… Guaran-frickin-teed. The Sarmajor said it.

So far so good. At the bike shops in my area, a new battery costs 3 x as much. Someone told me that cheaper batteries will die before the more expensive ones, but I don’t see how that will really effect the value. I expect it should last a good while, as long as I don’t forget to turn the key to the left when finished riding.
