Delivery is fast and the price is right. Ran into small problem with the 2nd one I bought. The screws were a little too long and the negative post would loose ground contact. Have to tap on it once in a while to make it work. It is usable but a little aggravating when you first install it and nothing happens. And no, I did not use the too long screws and twist the post too hard, it came that way.

I use this battery for my Briggs & Stratton generator. When I was choosing the appropriate battery there were two similar ones, except one had extra letter(s) in the model number, like R or RP and was a little more expensive. I spent a couple hours trying to figure out what the difference was between the battery with no letters and the one with letters. It seems it just means the “+” and “-“ poles are on the opposite side of the battery (right side and left side). Just mentioning this for anyone else who may be confused and needs the poles on a specific side due to the wiring placement on their equipment.

Only time will tell how long the actual battery lasts, but the advantage this battery has over the others is the screw-in post. The other batteries look like direct replacements, but with the posts positioned about 3/4 further in that the original battery, I could see I would have problems getting the cables to reach, and to bend in the proper orientation. With this battery, I just bolt in the jump cables and I’m done. Perfect fit and it couldn’t be easier. The battery was charged and ready for immediate use. I would buy this again.

About 11 years ago i did a natural gas conversion on my generator, which was one of the best things i have done. My generator is a 7000, 13 HP with electric start. From the first day i started it, it never cranked over like it did with this battery. I was amazed. Both batteries have the same identical technical specs, but this Mighty Max really started the generator. I haven’t had the generator running for a couple of months or so and after topping off the charge on the battery with a Tender Jr., I swear it turn over once and immediately started. Good buy. You won’t be disappointed, AND the packaging was very good. I read some reviews on other similar batteries where the battery didn’t even show up, or the packaging was so bad the battery was damaged. This packaging was really good considering the weight of a battery. Good job…

It came New and, while there was power, it just sparked. I put a trickle charger on it for 2-1/2 + days and it still wouldn’t start a ‘used’ generator. To the shop for overhaul and they put the battery on ‘full charge’ overnight+ while they overhauled the carb. Shop said it needed it – badly. It works like a champ, now. Was it the battery? Was it the Carb? Since the generator had sat for a while, probably more the carb’s fault.
