Just installed this battery on my new, slightly USED, low hours Generator. It fired the generator up quickly. I will edit this review in about 9 months and will report on how this battery holds up in the Florida heat. So far, so good.

I have always had good luck with Mighty Max batteries. Some have lasted 6 years so that’s a great return on the dollar spent. Depending on the battery and application, the cost can be as little as $3 per year. Not bad at all. They are excellent batteries.

I figured it would be cheaper to replace the battery in my 15 year old Xantrex powerpack 400 plus than buy a new unit. Decided to upgrade to the gel battery over the standard since it did not cost that much more and is a deep cycle battery. I was very disappointed to see the terminals were inboard on the battery I received not outboard like the stock photo everybody has. It was immensely difficult to connect the cables in the booster box since the cables were a fixed length. I had to dismantle the booster box and carefully bend everything so I could connect the battery and get the cover back on.
