The YTX16-BS GEL is a 12V 14AH GEL (Maintenance Free) battery. Requires no addition of water during the life of the battery. The Mighty Max YTX16-BS GEL is a TRUE DEEP CYCLE battery that can be mounted in any position, requires no maintenance. When a Gel Cell battery is charged, no hazardous fumes escape the battery case, gases are processed within the battery itself.

Excellent 9ah SLA battery. Much cheaper than a replacement 2.7ah battery for my old Amazon Basics UPS. Didn’t fit in the original case naturally, but I had already planned to us a short extension cable for the 12v leads. Only using the ups to power overhead LED strip lights, so 9ah should be more than enough to let me see when the power goes out.
