The Mighty Max YTX12-BS GEL is a TRUE DEEP CYCLE battery that can be mounted in any position, requires no maintenance. When a Gel Cell battery is charged, no hazardous fumes escape the battery case, gases are processed within the battery itself.

I ordered these babies off of Amazon. Since I'm not sure how full they come, I have them installed in the scooter box and in a maintenance (opposed to trickle charger, which I recommend), and will do a test run tomorrow if no rain. Great reviews convinced me to buy these. Plus being manufactured by a US company was the other deciding factor. Also my brother bought these same 24 V/ 15 Ah Mighty Max batteries and he's mid-way through year 4 with no noticeable power loss on his scooter. No brainer.
