When a Gel Cell battery is charged, no hazardous fumes escape the battery case, gases are processed within the battery itself.

This battery seems like a great battery. I haven’t had it too long. I bought it for a 2005 Honda Shadow 750CC motorcycle. I was also really pleased with the seller of this battery because there was an issue with the delivery of the first battery (due to no fault of their own, but UPS’s), and so I ordered a second battery, and then was told to refuse it, and so it would be returned without having to pay for shipping, because the first one showed up. So Ace Hardware was great to deal with.
