That was a fully charged battery. Customer service was awesome. Got my replacement battery and it was running well. Able to start after a 30mins run on my generator.

This is a perfect replacement for the battery in our First Alert Home security system. The old battery lasted 5 yrs which is about average for lead-acid battery life whether in a car or home application. Fast shipment, great price and the battery was fully charged in about 10 hrs after installation (low BAT indicator went OFF). Will update this review in case of premature failure but I expect this to be as good as the one it replaced. Time will tell but for now, its 5 star !

Great substitute for the battery ( 41B822) needed for the battery backup function of my Craftsman garage door opener. The original that came with the opener lasted about 4 years. The opener had started beeping (about once a minute) and a message appeared on the wall-mounted controller indicating the battery needed replacement.The battery swap was quite easy: use a screwdriver to remove one screw, use a flathead screwdriver to pop open the battery compartment door, unplug the red and black wires from the old battery, slide out old battery. Reverse the process to install new battery. The red and black wires connect to the battery with standard spade connectors that slide on to the battery’s flat terminals.As someone indicated, it’s a snug fit for the battery inside the opener. You may have to pull gently on the terminals to get the old battery to slide out of its compartment.This new battery happened to have enough charge from the factory that the opener didn’t even go into charging mode after installation — it was all set right from the beginning.Please do not dispose of the old battery in the trash. You should be able to recycle the old battery by taking it to your local DPW / recycling center. Or even an auto parts store might accept it free of charge, as old lead-acid batteries have some value.

I replaced my Sears Diehard garage door opener battery with this one. It fits perfectly and has worked fine. It’s a lot cheaper than OEM. However, the positive connector is narrow. On the OEM battery, the positive is wide and the negative is narrow. On the Mighty Max battery, they are both narrow. I think they did this to make sure it fits different applications.
