It arrived fully charged: 12volts 9AH as advertised. This replaces a Generac OEM 12 volt battery rated at 10AH but it works perfectly. I can’t comment on longevity yet but it’s less than half the price of the Generac original replacement battery and it starts my generator without the slightest bit of strain, even during cranking. I added in a battery tender (trickle charger) with a 7 day timer to keep it topped off. I’ll update the review in a year to see how it holds up over time.

As the title says, I replaced an aging 7Ah battery in my portable jump starter (Cobra CJIC 250) with this and didn’t have to modify a thing. A number of screws, the two terminal bolts, some adhesive foam sheet to give it the same protection that the original had, and it worked right away.

The battery that I ordered arrived dead. Tried to charge it but the charger would not accept it. When contacting customer service about the problem they acted fast and sent out a replacement. I needed another battery of the same type and ordered from them again mainly because I found the customer service they offered was great. The post are to short. Took longer to install the battery than it did to replace the carburetor on my generator. Had to use smaller nut and bolt to hold the cables on.

Bought this for a 8500w generator that’s only used once or twice a year. It has more than enough power to handle starting it. Decent price, right fit, quick shipping. Arrived over 90% charged. Just installed, so I can’t indicate about its longevity. As with every other SLD, there is no indication on the markings regarding manufacturing date, so it is left to hope the battery is fresh.
