This YB14L-A2 is a sealed lead-acid (SLA) absorbed glass mat (AGM) rechargeable battery. AGM and GEL batteries are lead-acid and of the same battery chemistry. This battery comes already charged, sealed, maintenance free, and ready to install.

I received my battery from Amazon on March 9, 2026. The box was a little squashed but the battery was packaged well and it it fine. I installed it and finally my gate opener is working properly. I purchased 2 batteries before this and had to return them because they were the wrong battery. This one is working great.
