Bought this to replace the Yuasa NP12-12. This seems to be a direct replacement. Everything fit the same and worked the same. Bought a new charger because the old one went bad. The new charger ($35 from Walmart) comes with a bad battery indicator. The old battery wouldn’t charge, even with the new charger, and then the indicator went on. Bought this one, traded out the housing and cables for the ride on car, charged the battery, and the kids were off and riding. Not sure on longevity since I just bought it, but so far so good!

The previous battery in my UPS was bulging, so it was a bit of a struggle to remove. Once I got it out, installed the new battery and everything was back to normal. Install was easy though hooking up the connectors can be a small challenge as they are so short. But that is no fault on the battery. I have had the battery installed for about 3 months now with no issues.

This little battery doesn’t quit. It’s easy to charge without fear it’s going to explode. It’s easy to make a mount for and it stays charged for a long time. I used it for a week and a half without a single charge until it was out of juice and that wasn’t even at a full charge to begin with.

Not for cold weather. Bought these batteries for my mobility scooter that I keep in my car. For the most part they work very well and are a good value for the money. That was until it got cold. Living in Northeast Ohio it is not uncommon for the temperature to drop into the teens during the winter months. When that happens these batteries are useless until they warm up. They work best in anything above room temperature. I have also exposed them to over 110° temperature, and they work just fine. Just not anything below freezing. If so they will leave you stranded.

I bought this battery as a drop in replacement for the one that was inside my Duralast portable car starter. It was physically the right size, as well as the correct rating, but the connectors with the original battery were small bolts and nuts while the new battery came with tabs for push-on connectors. This required me to drill small holes to allow the small bolts to fit through. It went together with not much fuss after that, but my biggest disappointment was after I tested the battery after I charged it. The indicator fell from 99% to 84% in less than 2 minutes under zero load! It stabilized there, leaving me to believe this battery is from old stock and has lost the capability to hold capacity by almost 20%.

Lots of reviews on this were stating that to fit in an APC BE750BB you needed to cut down the battery compartment in the UPS a bit. After reviewing the measurements in the spec sheet for the battery it looks like this was going to be required. I can report that the battery I received slid into an APC BE750BB without any kind of modification.

I had to cobblejob a way to connect this to my cables that were on my rider, but after i did that, it had been working fine to start up my rider. A number of friends said that it wouldn’t be strong enough, but it is. And a lot cheaper than a normal rider battery. I just had to use two big washers to tighten the cable end nut and bolt to the little tips.

I used 2 of these to rebuild my Worx WA3216 battery bank. Just open up the outer cover and remove the plastic posts on the bottom. I then de-soldered the positive and negative connectors as well as the fuse connecting both batteries. I added F2 terminal connectors to the connections I de-soldered to aid in replacing the batteries in the future. Last time I rebuilt the battery bank with batteries of similar spec, it lasted 2.5 years, with the battery put in a climate-controlled area after use. The OEM batteries only lasted a year. Saves some money over buying the OEM battery bank while lasting a lot longer.

I have been running this battery for 2 weeks now. It is connected to a 35w solar panel running some small LED lights, a small pump, and a small fan. I cannot speak to its longevity yet, but it’s sitting around 13.5V and has powered everything I have tested it with so far. I have yet to really tax it by running the pump all day or lighting all night. I assume running the pump will not be an issue since my 35w panel is providing plenty of power. The lights at night should run for an estimated 20.5 hours, of which around 10 will be useable and more than enough (144 spec’d watt hours on batt running a 7W LED…using <50% of battery capacity). I would recommend this battery so far.

While the packaging for the product was minimal; I found the (3) items to be in very good condition. A cursory voltage measurement was taken and all registered a bit over 12 VDC as would be expected. The product appears to be well made and I’m expecting good service from all (3) batteries that I purchased. These batteries will be used to power a 36V DC Black and Decker (SPCM1936) Mower that has a removable, chargeable battery pack. The original batteries lasted 8 Years and it is hoped these batteries will last just as long. I’ll revisit this post if they do not.

This battery came with molded feet on the bottom of the battery housing which made the battery not fit into my UPS. I had to modify the UPS slot for the battery to fit. My original battery is smooth on the bottom. Without those molded feet on the bottom this battery would fit just fine. It did work fine after I crammed it into the UPS slot. Good luck to the next person who has to removing it again! Probably will be me.

I ordered the battery pack (2 batteries) to use in an APC-BP 1100 UPS. They are bigger than the original, both in AmpHour capacity and in physical size. They will fit into the space of the original, but I had to make a ‘very’ sight modification to one of the hold down brackets and add a thin spacer to insure that the terminals would not short out. I have a second, identical unit which will get a set of these when the time comes. I have just received and installed the batteries, so I can not speak to the longevity of them.

Obviously it’s not meant for a powerwheel so on the Red Mustang Powerwheel I did have to cut about a 1/4 of plastic off in the engine bay to make it fit. Then I wired up the powerwheels connecter with a fuse and it has a little more power but lasts 3x as long as the powerwheels battery.
