I installed this battery in APC Back-UPS 425VA BE425M UPS. This battery has terminal size F1. APC Back-UPS 425VA uses terminal size F2. I ordered this for Precor AMT 100i exercise machine and replaced the OEM battery NP4-12 which is 12 volt, 4.0 Ah. i note that this battery is 12 volt, 5.0 Ah and it has no problems working in the Precor AMT 100i. This battery is much less expensive than the Genesis NP4-12 OEM battery. This is the first time I ever had to replace the OEM battery and this Mighty Max battery seems to work fine. The Precor AMT 100i DOES need the F1 terminals which is standard on this Mighty Max battery (F1 terminals are narrower than F2 terminals). The only other issue with battery replacement on the Precor AMT100i is that it does require unclipping of the plastic clips on the bottom of the battery holder with some wiggling/jiggling at the same time to get the old battery out. Then same wiggling/jiggling to get new battery in place, plastic clips spring back and hold new battery in place in the battery holder. Once new battery in place, then attach F1 terminal wires on top and done. I used a needle nose pliers to help with detaching and reattaching the terminal wires.

The original battery was manufactured in 2014 and installed in 2015 and lasted almost 7 years. This battery was a perfect fit and was easy to install with just a ladder and screwdriver. No manufacturing date on the battery and came with about 1/2 charge according to the diaplay on the garagedoor opener switch and was fully charged in about 2 hours. When the Low Battery indicator appeared on the ADT Security panel, along with periodic beeps, I knew it was time to change the 12V rechargeable battery. The last battery I bought was at Radio Shack five years ago but there are no more RS stores and none of the local stores (Home Depot Lowes, etc.) had any so my only option was online purchase. Based on the good reviews, I decided to give the Mightmax a try and two days later the package arrived on my front porch. The 12v/5Ah Mightmax battery seems to be well made. Before installing, I measured the voltage at the terminals and it was 12.0v, which is somewhat lower than what a fresh one measures. There was NO manufacturing date code on the battery or the box, so there’s no telling how old the battery is. I did find that it took approximately four hours after installing the battery in the ADT panel before the Low Battery indicator went off. With a fresh battery, this usually only takes one hour. At this price point, I’m happy with the purchase and if it lasts 2-3 years I’ll have gotten my money’s worth.

So this was supposed to be a replacement battery for my Troybuilt push mower w/electric start. 12v 5ah was right on par with what I needed. Unfortunately, this batter is underpowered. Even after fully charging it, it doesnt produce enough power to get it to start. So I took my spare 12v 9ah (wider battery) and set it in sideways and used it instead. Not sure what I may need a small output 12v battery for but for the price, it’s not worth sending back.

Negative pin corroded off in less than 3 months in a sealed weatherproof box containing the battery and a 12v to 12v charger. Previous dead battery has sat outside waiting for another battery to die for a single trip to recycle them hasn’t even formed corrosion in the same time frame. If you current battery has died and can’t be reasonably recharged. This replacement battery is just fine, and it will probably last for up to five years, according to the manufacturer. However, replacing the battery does not automatically remove the yellow triangle trouble light. Basically, you must then press *2 and a number will appear on the control box that you use to set and disarm your alarm. If the number is a 1, you’ll need to follow your alarm instructions for removing the yellow light. If the yellow light remains, you will need to do the *2 once more because there is another problem, that’s likely to be the alarm’s date and time need to be addressed. Again, your instruction booklet will tell you the process.

This was a great replacement battery for our ion tailgater. The oem battery died after two years. I always kept it plugged in all winter because I was worried the lead acid battery would die if not left charged. There must be no overcharge protection and no float charge in the ion’s circuitry. Since I replaced the oem battery with this one I’ve moved to a once per month maintenance charge in the winter months that my phone calendar reminds me to do. I’m not sure if I’ll get more than 2 years out with the new charging schedule but I’ll give it a shot.

I have not cycled them enough or had them long enough to say they last a long time but at the present time i would recommend buying these because the price qas reasonable they arrived fast. Once i received them i checked voltage to make sure they where close to the same voltage wired them together and installed them with zero issues. We have cycled them 4 or 5 times and last as long as the origanals in the razor scooter .

I was about to throw out a UPS that had great value to me, but started having its alarm going off. The bad part was, it didn’t look like it could have its battery replaced. However, I was able to remove panels and get in and see what type and size it was (no instructions or mention of what could replace it). Apparently, the ML5-12 – 12 Volt 5 AH Battery worked. It was delivered in better time than expected, was easy to swap, and now for a forth of its original price, it’s back in use.

This item was purchased to replace a dead battery in a Craftsman garage door opener. Replacement was simple, 1 screw and a couple of low voltage connectors. Works great, but time will tell. Original battery was maked as 2014 so six years is the bar.

A perfect replacement for the battery on my craftsman key start push lawn mower. Has to be mounted on its side but was a direct fit dimension and functionality wise. The same you get out of a standard car battery if you take care of it properly.I assume this battery is also just a lead box with acid inside and a plastic coating. I fully expect this new one to last about 7 years as well.
